Zero’d at 16yards shooting very smooth then target at 35 yards 6 shots 10 mm crs with jsb 10.3 shown in photo.
Haven’t got a crono but pellet drop suggests 12.1 ft/lb sorry got that wrong about 11.2 I expect that this might increase slightly as gun settles in. Pleased with the mods done a much nicer feel. Edited by Stuart - 22 Jul 2023 at 9:21am |

Offcut of 30dia x 150mm Nylatron from LEP Plastics Chch $10
O’rings Pacific seals Wellington total of 6 for piston and breech 2 sets of each for spares total $7 Nylatron specs The closest to Oilon Nylon is Nylatron GSM which is specifically formulated with a molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) additive. This additive provides enhanced strength, rigidity, and self-lubricating properties to the material. The presence of MoS2 particles helps to reduce friction and wear, making Nylatron GSM well-suited for applications involving sliding or rotating parts. Guy in Uk been using his setup for about 3 years with no trouble at all with extension and theViton o’ring So I will have to get out and do some shooting and see how mine goes. There ya go.
I'll be interesting to see how the O ring setup goes for you. Good work! Would a quick blast of heat get rid of the stringy bits? Where did you buy that material from?

I had a look and can't see any restrictions on your profile.
Maybe Nunga will check, he knows heaps more about it. I can see you have a couple of images uploaded, but can't see them or when you uploaded them. |

Just got finished and Prosport is much better no spring twang as with the old loose spring guide
Turned a nice tight one up in Nylatron as are the piston extension and top hat, a slight radius was required on Seal undercut to allow fitting of the extension also needed 4 slots to allow expanding to fit a good tap with My tapometer so this is a nice tight fit. A bit stringy to turn but pleased with results and new seals now a lot cheaper and easy to change. New breech o’rings aswell. The spring isn’t standard so would like to get one as this one seems a bit strong but Will see how it goes 31coils. Hello I will get some photos on. Shimmed side play in trigger now much better Piston extension 17.5mm Copied what a UK guy did but used existing undercut and didn’t need to use securing screws. https://nbroadsman.me.uk/index.php/air-rifles/air-arms-tx200-hc-tuning Edited by Stuart - 14 Jul 2023 at 2:49pm |

I’m using molybdenum impregnated Nylatron for all parts with viton o’ring on extension. Give it a whirl eh!
Someone over in uk has done one and has had good success with it so more or less copying his work After 4 years of using its still working good,so all being well will be less than just buying new seal. Fingers crossed. |

I turned up a top hat and guide for an HW80 out of delrin, and it was like it had snowed around the lathe with the amount you take off.

Turning all the bits up next week so will show photos when it’s about to go back together.
Just got O’rings coming down from Wellywood so will see how it goes. Keep you posted. Parts less than $20 just an hour or two machining. Using existing spring, would have liked original but will see how it shoots The spring guide in it now is very loose so next one should improve the buzz. |
