Love these old Smith & Wesson co2 Pistols.
They are great piece of airgun history; from the Smith & Wesson factories, airgun division, not simply a replica made by airsoft factories like modern offerings.

They handle like real firearms, modelled after their model 41 target pistol, good as a training pistol, but also great for folk like me that will likely never handle the real steel.

One thing I didnt like was the plastic grips. They are good quality, dense, have a good wood effect look, but theres nothing like having real wood and metal..

So I got these made by Vernon Austin in USA, made from walnut and a great upgrade for anyone that had one of these pistols (also got grips for my Crosman Mkii LD project, and a set for a 2240 build)

Thats a huge improvement. Trufully the plastic handels made it look like crap.
Still good to have the original parts and screws.
Im guessing those pellets and cylinders are back from when it came out too?

The plastic is ok in the flesh but wood is definitely better. Would be nice to have the same checkering pattern as the plastic but that would be a bit of cost.

The pellets and gas are what they would have come with, the .22 pellet tin is unopened with original tape. Gas canisters are a mix of used and new but as these are from 1970's even the new ones will likely have no pressure now so just there for looks - they are nice with the Smith & Wesson logo & blue.

Also added a couple of S&W sight adjustment tools, these would have come with revolvers.

Love those grips

You wouldn't have any pistol grips for my Crosman 2250b project do you? Tried a couple of places (NZ) to no avail. Old plastic ones are fine as I'm still looking at doing a carbon overlay

Young’s often has them in stock as spares. Around $20ish a pair I think.
