First question fellas,
Where is the best place to order 2250 parts from? I'm looking for a powerlet seal and probably others and maybe a 18inch barrel? Youngs? Or any overseas options that are cost effective enough. Cheers |

Also a safety assembly, mine including spring, ball bearing and safety bar is missing.

Recent order from Youngs and Ron had everything I needed for an overhaul. Not sure about an 18 inch barrel and whether it will add to performance on CO2.

Young's should have everything you need. Do you have a steel breach on it? I would recommend going steel if you haven't already especially with going to 18" barrel

Youngs has only ever done stock after market parts made by crossman when I've tried to get things off them.
Claims as a crossman supplier he can't order non crossman parts. Heres a list of places I was given who deal with aftermarket crossman stuff. A couple of popular supliers are: gmaccustomparts.com alliancehobby.com alchemyairwerks.com magnumairpower.com mellonair.myfreesites.net - good price for extended / flow through probes & power adjusters https://www.airgun-parts-shop.co.uk/ Edited by kruzaroad - 30 Jan 2024 at 2:36am |

Personally I’d be a bit cautious about ordering from the USA as their postal service is known to return to sender any item suspected or identified as being a gun/airgun part shipped to NZ.

Small ball bearings can be ordered from NZ. I got 20 as there's a force that ejects them into the outer realm whenever you look at them. Not sure about springs, but they could be made if you had thin enough spring wire.
I have punched O rings out of butynol and had success for the powerlet seal. Could also use slivers of silicone tube. They may not last as long as original seals, but cheap and readily available. Steel breech a good upgrade too.
