I’ve bought a tin of the gun city “rabbiter” which I think are the H&N barracuda hunters.
Will measure and weigh them to compare, and will test them for accuracy in the dreamline and let u know how they go, but I do have high hopes for them 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I had reasonable results with gun City javelins in gamo,tx and 1322. Enough so I got a second tin. But they were out preformed by other brands.
Still a pellet I would consider if more accurate brands for my guns weren't avalible.
They also seemed like a softer pellet.

Just out of curiosity, the H&N variety test pack in .22 includes a pellet called the Barracuda hunter, which my Gamo CFR really liked, but I could not find any for sale anywhere, so I ended up going with the barracuda hunter extreme.
Today I was looking in gun city for .177 cal pellets, I was looking specifically for JSB’s but gun city dosent stock JSB’s.
So I had a good look at the extensive range of H&N pellets they do stock, and their house brand called Javelin.
Their house brand Javlins are actually made y H&N, interesting to know, so although they are cheaper they should be the same quality.
Then I noticed a pellet called a Javelin “rabbiter hollow point”, which looks identical to the barracuda hunter… 🤔🤔🤔.
I’m certain Guncity have “bought” H&N’s barracuda hunter pellet and are just having them put into the red Guncity/javelin rabbiter hollow point tin.
I’m sure they have done the same with the H&N silver point pellet and the javelins in the blue tin.
Walk quietly, but carry a big stick.

I forgot about those QY. I will be getting some when they are in stock. If anyone is serious about buying some, drop a line to Shooting Stuff. The more confirmed interest will hopefully encourage them to bring in more.
I've heard of others getting good results from those pellets too.

They have some more coming, but they were unable to get much of what they requested. BUT the more that gets requested, I guess the more likely they will be able to go direct rather than buying through a distributor.

The 9.56gr would be a good one to try in high power .177s

The Heavies are a great pellet for high power .177.
AA Fields are JSB made, similarly with Cometa branded pellets - all good options.

My old HW100 loved JSB exact.
And so did my little AA S410.
The dreamline liked the H&N baraccuda hunter (not the extreme), but I can’t find any anywhere, so it’s now on a diet of JSB hades which group “ok” at 40m. Not the “one ragged hole” I’m looking for but I think with some tuning it could get there.
My gamo CRF likes H&N barracuda hunter extremes.
