i still have one those mini lathes in storage handy little buggers tho not sure if you can get 4 jaw for them  but the tool shed would know as they sell lot these mini lathes, you can do lot mill work on drill press using a compound sliding vice you can buy for approx $100 if you are only doing small mill jobs, you would be surprised what you can do and make using very simple machine tools and evan hand tools if you really put your mind to it.
 cheers mike

I was planning on doing the crown on a 2240 barrel. I can fit 20 mm through the spindle. I haven't done anything major a yet. Biggest thing I've made was an aluminium shroud/silencer for my EV2. I have a live centre and was able to fit it in there so I could turn the whole length and hide joins.

So you done any bore polishing or crowned barrels on it Pauly?
I well imagine that ports and valves would all be a possibility as well.

You using imperial or metric increments on the tool adjustments.

Lol only as sensitive as my vernier 😛
I imagine that you could make a pellet specific flar on the end for seating the skirt, but it would have to be hollow between pin and skirt flair or some way of backing the bolt off the pellet for gas flow.
