Well got bored and drilled out the standard barrel band to within a mil then sanded it out to fit longer barrel and threw stock on to see how gun feels.
Light, steady, short, very nice to shoulder, quick to get on sight. really nice point of Balance.
little bit of stock movement, I'll sort out.
Hopefully the postie brings the new bolt tommorow and I can test it for volicity.
Turns out gamo scope will fit till I get a picatinny adaptor, so I can clip a scope on and off.
polished hammer some what. ( machining tool marks petty deep and didn't look like any effort to remove them) Piston tube surprisingly smooth hammer end.
Look at pistion end of tube after i see what fps increase I get off barrel.
If it works out and is accurate I can already see it as my primary gun for small bird/pest and close rabbit.
I'm really liking it.
already considering getting a second one if this works out and only putting top end parts on, now I'm starting to see what gun is about. For about the price of a gamo magnum I could have a totally custom gun.

Good stuff. I imagine the longer barrel will get you more efficiency.

I bought a Crosman 362 a month ago, and I am very impressed by it. 4 pumps gets me just over 8 foot pound, and accuracy is very good too. Very similar price.

fps, build quality, pros, cons accuracy etc.
your opinion as a hunting rifle.
if your keen, as detailed as possible.
I'll be reading it, be great for info the site.
Probly drag a few to site of Web. seems that its a well loved model of gun.

J-S what's your preference on probes extended or hollow? Needing to do either on my build at sometime.

Im no expert to be fair, but imagine both are good and an improvement on original.
Both seat the pellet a little further past the transfer port.

Ok, good idea. I will try and do that. I've done some mods to it too.

I guess, watch this space.
