TX200 after watching Gary Chillingworth, on U Tube, using his hunter carbine, decided to tighten up the action screws to an even 1.5 newton metres.  Mistake as dam thing wouldn’t cock. Loosened off & it was cocking  but only just, also often the safety wouldn’t engage.

Had removed the anti beartrap, so reinstalled, caused me grief, as gun now loaded but couldn’t release lever, not enough movement of the anti beartrap lever. The  answer was to file down & reslot the tiny screws. At this point I put it back in the safe & said out loud I’ve had enough of you today.

Hour or 2 later bored I was back at it so the next mistake I played with the 2 trigger adjustments, now wouldn’t cock again, reset them back wow, small movements made a huge different, went from a 5 lb trigger to not cocking in a heartbeat, tricky being a 2 stage trigger.

Now all back and working as it should, what a mission.Big smile
