I get a heap of still days here. More than anywhere else I've emcouteredd around nz. Today is not one.
Shooting at 168.9m I think it was. 10km winds gusting to 23km Ave around 14km where I shoot from. 12km to 15km past macs pretty constant then strait back to 10/12km gusting to over 20km sitting around average of 17km. Gully to left sets up slightly differnt wind angles as wind crosses it as well. Least it's all from the left this time. I've got can at bottom of that back board and are putting last mildot mark on retical about 1/3 of way up that stick. Thats brought me to right level approx but the wind is just whipping my arse for windage. Closest I've gotten is about inch above can in centre. Most now are landing around the right hight but I haven't been able to get the windage right. Coffee time getting bit frustrated. |

Long distance shooting, in even the slightest wind can be very frustrating…
How much coffee have u got? 😂😂😂 All of my “long shots” in the 80’s and 90 yards that u see in my videos, I only attempt if it is verrrrryy still, usually only late at night, past 10pm. |

Plenty of coffee. Winds up more, so canned it.
I don't mind a constant wind, I can work with that. Gusty is definitely throwing me off and so is the hang time today. Still it's all info for real life pellet arc and drift. That is invaluable. |

Numga, its @PrecisionPellet on youtube.
Its all just pest control, lots of rabbits getting shot. Gets quite monotonous after a while. I used to really enjoy making them, but i think i'm getting over it now

Maybe you should change it up a bit. Few gun reviews and pellet reviews directly related to hunting (you can get general everywhere on Web) drop that self aiming scope or turn off of the self aiming and do a few videos on hold over and using mildots to range (again in the field, everyone does these, but not actually in the fields hunting) if your kids just did their first hunts you could do a series of getting kids into hunting and teaching them to stalk and shoot. (keep there faces out of it, for privacy and saftey)
Do a comparison of kills, with night vision with all the bells and whistles verses spotlight and scope. Do a checking organs for diseases video. Do penitration tests at the same fpe at target, to show the energy dump differance between cal at same fpe. Plenty of options if you get out into the field instead of all these controlled situations you see on Web. Do a springer vs pcp video, sound scaring critters in field video. Find some space and beat my furthest shot with a springer, video it and narrate it with tips and advice. Edited by kruzaroad - 20 Aug 2024 at 3:46am |

Hw97 blackline. Stock.
Scope hawk Vantage, 6 to 24 x 50 (you know I'm not actually sure) ffp Pellet h&n field target trophy 14.66gr unsorted. Gun fully rested on bag front. Fore stock arm supporting trigger arm. No wind to the slightest breeze. As good as it gets really. I walked up and was looking at the pellet above can when relised the can was seeping. Was part of a three shot group, so not sure what one hit it. ![]() ![]() The power of the pellet's was gone this being the grouping and a couple of pellet's in cardboard. ![]() ![]() ![]() Aim points ![]() ![]() Couple more of can. ![]() ![]() Thats it from me. A pellet change might make a differance to fpe at target, but the hold over on the center of the crosshairs is approx 12 to 15 foot at moment with heavier pellet, the moon. Thats the furtherest I can shoot this springer at this set up. Edited by kruzaroad - 22 Aug 2024 at 5:48am |

![]() Heres the final pic with beer cans, gun, pellets and one of three sun screens it had for the scope over course of shooting. I'm stoked. I've shot my gun as far it will puncture a can at. I've pushed myself and the gun and pulled off what i consider a awsome shot. I'm stoked with me and my gun. I'm expecting one of you guys to beat it. You guys have more powerful guns, guns you've worked your prefrances into, a lot better shooters than me with those guns. There's still 100 bucks on it. If no one claims the hundy bucks off me, I'll flip it back into a comp more suited to more people. But frankly you all suck for not even commenting on what was a lot of effort, time and skill for me to make that shot. Lets see you do better and get that hundy. 172m is a very impressive shot, well done Kruza.
I’d have liked to see it with my own eyes. Not because i think you cheating or lying, I don’t, but simply because I’d love to see someone shooting a can at 172m with a springer 👌🏻 If I had the space I’d be participating, for sure. At the moment I’m about to remove the RRR and rezero the scope on my CFR, shooting through my house into the garden at my max, 20yards 😂 Impressive shot, well done. 👍🏻 Keen to see what the other guys are achieving distance wise. |
