Have same thing with 1322. I'm assuming there is a lip where barrel connects, or possibly one over the inlet hole. Possible that the bolt and loading chamber arnt perfectly lined. It is a cheaper pistol.
However as I'm a single loader I point the gun down and it falls into chamber sweet as. Think I noticed it first after barrel/breach change. |

It may be the air port may have a bur in the hole
Or try a different pellets. I do remember a h&n barracuda being quite tight |

You might find the breech need deburring.
A couple of years ago I bought 2 CR600W off Guncity on a $1 Res auction, as damaged. One had a scratched valve from factory swarf, so I polished that out, but the other had pellets stuck in the barrel from a rough loading breech. Easy fix. They are easy guns to work on, so you could quite easily take the barrel out and smooth off the loading breech/port/leade thingy.

Yes I suspect it might be catching on the breech hole. What would be the best tool/method for deburring the breech hole? I plan on drilling out the ports etc so will need to do some deburring after that most likely.
I only have the one type of pellet to try right now but will try some others soon.

I have used a wooden dowel that I shaped to fit, then used sandpaper wrapped around it. If there are any obvious burrs, target them, then smooth it all off. Check the transfer port as well to make sure there aren't burrs there too.

That sounds like a good way to do it. I'm assuming a course to medium grid sandpaper would be ok?

Is there a reason these refillable 12g co2 capsules http://www.ebay.com/itm/124618547296 couldn't be extended with a piece of threaded tubing in the middle, so they fit the space where 3 normal 12g co2 capsules go?
It would be great to have a couple of ~36g bulk filled co2 containers that could be used without making any modifications to the rifle. I think this is essentially what dvlnme said he has made in a different thread but I'm not exactly sure how he made his. I'm assuming there is a reason why this isn't something everyone is doing, as on the surface it seems like a great solution. One thing I'm unsure about is if you could simply drop one of the refillable capsules into the gun and have it work without making any changes to it?

I wouldn't go any more coarser than 400 grit, then I would finish with a higher grit so it's nice and polished for the pellet to travel over. You could even get autosol and using the wood dowel, polish it. The dowel should mold to the harder surface. Making sure to remove all traces of autosol from the barrel afterwards too. |

Those refillable canisters I'm sure you could extend. dvlnme will know best on this idea.

I'm sure we will hear from Dvlnme soon. He has had an eye injury and been unable to look at screens for a while.

I had seen that he hadn't been active on here for a few months and before I joined, so I didn't want to message him out of the blue about it.

Hey mate, not sure if you got this sorted or if this may help someone else, but;
I just got one of these and have had the same thing. I removed the barrel and was able to replicate the fault and found pellets were coming out badly scarred from the magazine itself. I found the magazine doesn't sit perfectly aligned with the barrel, and pushing the bolt forward makes this worse. I did two things to help improve this: 1, Disassemble magazine and slightly chamfer the inner edge of the hole the pellet exits through (80% of the improvement came from this) I used a small dremel tool with a cone shaped grinding wheel, but there are many ways to skin this cat. 2, Note that the magazine itself moves quite far when the bolt comes forward, especially with a badly snagged pellet. On the front face of the magazine there's an empty thread down the bottom right corner (looking at magazine from shooter's POV) I put a screw in this and cut the head off just above the surface. This holds the mag in place and stops it wobbling around and exasperating snagged pellets. This was the remaining 20% of the imrpovement. The gun now cycles exactly as it should. I should say I also used a small wooden dowel with P400 (wet) to deburr around the transfer port and inner barrel, recommended if yours aren't smooth already. |

Hello, that is interesting you had that issue. Mine is and has been perfect since I got it. The mag fits snug and has no movement.
Have you done another mods? We mis Dvlnme you may have heard that he passed away. |

Nice fix Elliott. Good bit of kiwi ingenuity.
Ill file that away in the old grey matter as a useful concept incase i ever need it. Hey bill bob do you want a neoprene sleeve for that co2 bottle on your cr? I brought a pair to make a cheek riser for the 1322. Only need one. Be a stable insulator compared to bare metal. |
