   you under estimate a heart shot. Once the heart stops so does the ability to pump adrenaline through the body. Having said that I'll take the head shot. At night with the red light I've found they are more prone to sit up and listen that's ideal to locate the heart. Any shot that is a clean kill is the best shot.

	I’ve only taken one hare (which I took with a bow), but we cooked it and ate it, and it was excellent! I sort of made up a recipe for it, and cooked it in the slow cooker in coke (yes, the drink coke-a-cola). As I said, it was excellent and the next time I get the opportunity to shoot a hare it’s definitely coming home with me!!! If anyone is interested in the recipe pm me and I’ll send it to you 👍🏻 Pete.
