Those bolts with extended probes work well Pauly.
Got rid of the issue I had of the pellets grabbing as I pushed the bolt in. Obviously seats them better. Way superior quality to the stock ones on crosman. Bolt handel better design too. Looking forward to the next two. 362 will benifit from it. Noticed a few differnt designs at probe base, do you do them with the standard tool or you got some differnt shaped tips.? What is the tolerance you allow for a pellet skirt thickness, I imagine they could cause issues with varing thickness. I can only guess that from your tool list Nunga, that you died and gone to heaven and are in fact communicating from the after life. 😁 |

Those Allen keys look the part I'll have to get some.
I got these for scope installation as I was finding the star drive screw drivers a pain in arse for slippage and breaking. No regrets. Fit better. Way easier to tighten lossen. 1/4 inch drive so not bulky to use. Work well with just extension for initial tighting. ![]() Can anyone give me the brand of a fat tipped flathead screw driver. The crosman screws have a rediculously fat slot compared to width. |

That is highly sensitive intellectual property. Also called artistic license.

Lol only as sensitive as my vernier 😛
I imagine that you could make a pellet specific flar on the end for seating the skirt, but it would have to be hollow between pin and skirt flair or some way of backing the bolt off the pellet for gas flow. |

So you done any bore polishing or crowned barrels on it Pauly?
I well imagine that ports and valves would all be a possibility as well. You using imperial or metric increments on the tool adjustments. |

I was planning on doing the crown on a 2240 barrel. I can fit 20 mm through the spindle. I haven't done anything major a yet. Biggest thing I've made was an aluminium shroud/silencer for my EV2. I have a live centre and was able to fit it in there so I could turn the whole length and hide joins.

i still have one those mini lathes in storage handy little buggers tho not sure if you can get 4 jaw for them but the tool shed would know as they sell lot these mini lathes, you can do lot mill work on drill press using a compound sliding vice you can buy for approx $100 if you are only doing small mill jobs, you would be surprised what you can do and make using very simple machine tools and evan hand tools if you really put your mind to it.
cheers mike
