regarding the regassing - you are best to buy one and keep it with the gun - that way you can fine tune it to your liking - they can make good power but you may find a little lower is fine for what you need it for and the improved shot cycle and cocking effort is worth the drop. have a look at Best Fittings in UK. they have the fitting for charging, and likely a slim jim pump, but there have been a few cheap pcp pumps on trademe recently that may work better.

I have a Theoben Eliminator, its a beast - heavy, solid, beautiful! big cocking effort but its 27 footpound. could be dropped to 20fpe and smoothed out.
I have a Sirocco - early 1984 example. stacks pellets and around 22 footpound so not so hard on cocking and shot cycle. trigger lets it down a little as the webley trigger is a bit behind the likes of weihrauch.
I have another sirocco as well, later model with thumbhole stock. its a bit of a wreck with a broken and repaired stock, but it has a shorter carbine barrel than the early sirocco

The one gas ram id want would be the SLR 98 carbine! im a sucker for an underlever!
