Does anyone have a half decent pistol available that I can purchase to participate in the 6yd pistol shoot challenge? Must be .177 cal and not keen on pump action pneumatic style. Cheers Edited by KiwiTR6 - Yesterday at 10:47am |

I was very tempted by that! Very nice target pistol.
Recoilless, via dual opposing pistons. Hoping you bought it??? If you did, please don’t shoot it too much until it’s had a reseal - looks in original condition so likely hasn’t been resealed - the pistons need fairly exact tolerances in order to avoid wear and damage to the pistons and gears inside. |

That's weird, I didn't see it and I've been searching intensely for a couple of days! It looks to have closed without selling, no mention of bids or a winner. |

The seller has other listings active listings you could query through those if he sold it.

Yeah, I did see that. I figure someone made direct contact and a deal was done outside of TM. I'm now planning on making contact with Alliance Hobby to check the prospects of getting a .177 barrel and and a 2240 handle frame into the country successfully. I have the remnants of a brand new 2240 and a 2250 both of which I converted to PCPs. I really only need the barrel, breach and a handle frame plus a few other minor bits to make up a complete CO2 pistol.

Bugger, sometimes happens if someone does buy now - auction ends but no hint of who won’t. I’ve heard alliance is touch and go whether they’ll reply to you…. But I’m not sure where you’d get parts from these days as options are limited. I wouldn’t mind a .177 Lothar walther barrelled Crosman. Would be a pricey upgrade though |

Hi. I've had great service from JG airguns in the States. Fast and efficient but the mailing cost hurts. I've got a surplus 2240 barrel with blueing removed, rifling looks good, plus plastic breaches and one piece bolts, front and rear sights and plenty of wooden grips. Let me know if anything is useful. Sorry, no frames. Tonycee

I have plenty of parts from the two donor units plus several new steel breaches and .22 bare rifle barrels that I purchased from Youngs about a year or so ago. However, if I can get exactly what I need in .177 it'll save me a lot of buggerising around machining and adapting stuff to fit. I've emailed Alliance and I'll follow up with JG Airguns as well.
