Yes the Rekord trigger is brilliant as is the Diana T06 (IMHO), different construction but potentially equal outcome.  The T06 does take a little more to setup though.  

the 65 is a great gun, reseal is a great idea. That one on trademe looked in great condition! rare to be beeman branded too. 

Glad to hear the 124 is running nicely - they're a great gun and FWB barrels are always good. The rekord trigger on the HW's is probably the reason the FWB may have suffered.

I ended up buying a Feinwerbauh Model 65 that was also listed recently.  It was more expensive than I had in mind but my custom 2250 PCP performs so well I'm no longer using the Brocock GP - so It's now up for sale.  The FWB will replace it and gives me an alternative flavour of pistol shooting.  It does need seals replaced though as it's been a collector's item, so I have a kit on the way from the US.

Jono, I've been shooting the 124 Sport lately after having drilled and staked the stock with epoxy and threaded steel rod. What an amazing gun it is!  The accuracy is simply outstanding but it has been let down a bit by the trigger.  I'd fitted the alloy one but the adjuster wasn't doing anything and on disassembly I found that the thread in the alloy was stripped.  I refitted the original plastic trigger and carried out a simple mod to the intermediate sear and this has completely transformed it - so I'm very much looking forward to using it at our upcoming club sub-12ftlb competition this coming weekend.

Paul, if I hadn't already purchased the FWB I would have grabbed one of those Daisy's.  They're exactly what I was looking for!  Always the way.....

I haven't ever fired a proper target pistol, but my Daisy is a pleasure to shoot, lovely trigger and the cocking arm is effortless to cock. Of course no powerhouse.

This pistol is back up for sale by the guy who bought it! $1 reserve so keep an eye on it. 

it will need a reseal but worth it - it would be a very capable pistol - designed for high level competition. recoilless spring piston, target grip etc.

I have plenty of parts from the two donor units plus several new steel breaches and .22 bare rifle barrels that I purchased from Youngs about a year or so ago. However, if I can get exactly what I need in .177 it'll save me a lot of buggerising around machining and adapting stuff to fit.

Yeah, I did see that.  I figure someone made direct contact and a deal was done outside of TM.

I'm now planning on making contact with Alliance Hobby to check the prospects of getting a .177 barrel and and a 2240 handle frame into the country successfully.  I have the remnants of a brand new 2240 and a 2250 both of which I converted to PCPs.  I really only need the barrel, breach and a handle frame plus a few other minor bits to make up a complete CO2 pistol.
