My printed targets are square not round but you can easily see it at 30 yards It prints out to a full a4 sheet. It is in PDF.

Also on a side note. I just brought a Cannon 737 multi pump. open sights. It was cheap as chips and perfect for this challenge.

I got it for the pigeon control shoot which is coming up on friday. One pump and the pellets are 380fps. Perfect for birds and wont damage any buildings. It is surprisingly accurate as well.

So here is my first attempt at a 30y open sights 10 shot group.
Nothing to write home about, but not bad for a first attempt.
I was shooting for groupings, not for score because I can’t get the 10.4gr heavies Zeored with the current open sights.
I need to file down the front post a little 🙈 to raise the group.
Be there is my first attempt.
Nunga, I didn’t see that you had posted a target, I just used one I had in my shooting box, but I’ll try print off some of yours 👍🏻

Might be I'm always on scopes but that rear sight looks high in elevation.
Is the rifle as quiet as it sounds on video?
What size is the target?
Is the tree regularly injected with lead? 😁

Nunga… at least get your self some shooting sticks 😂
Or use the rail of the deck to rest your “very Diana 48 looking” rifle on 😂

Kruz, yeah it does look a little high. it was hard to get the thing adjusted so i was just aiming at a spot on the tree where i knew the pellets would hit. and yes it is just as quiet as the video. the target is a4 paper the square from corner to corner is around 90mm. there is a link to the pdf at the top of this page.

Pete, yeah it does look like a diana 48 but it is not. As far as i can tell it is a old Chinese KL-3B fast deer it is the safety lever on the side which gives it away.

The circular target I used above is also an A4 page. The OD of the black area is 95mm (which is pretty much all I can see at 30yards, I cant make out the two white outer rings at that distance), and the white dot in the very center is 23mm.

This is supposed to be a springer 100yard (scoped) target challenge, but also seems to work well for 30yards open sights.
