Kruza, your 97 is a .22, what pellet have you been using, fps and FPE?

Walk quietly, but carry a big stick.

H&n Field target trophy
14.66gr 659fps 14.13 fpe at muzzle. According to chairgun. The fps is from when I was down south. Did about 3 readings with bb's chrono. Wether things have changed no idea. |

Definitely mercs. Its got to have the power. Truthfully I'd love to see the gamo do some insanely far shot. Be chuckling for weeks at the gamo haters on that. Dude you got a sig. I had a sig. That's what I'd be using. I honestly believe the sig shoots heaps accurate enough and it's got the power to blitz my gun. Use em both. Wild west coast weather be your biggest hurdle I imagine. Money part ends in 5 days? , but if that's not a issue, anytime after that is still a great time to post a hundy plus on any gun. |

Kruza if you want to double check with the chrony I can semd it up to you.
Got the sig out for 5 quick shots. No target but a clump of dirt in the field next door at 120m, wind was swirling southerly but the dust of pellet poi was a bit all over the place. Neibours over the back have just sold so I need to check in with the new guys if I can still shoot hares over there. |

All good on the chrono bb. Im not fussed data for myself.
I've rather enjoyed getting away from facts with this gun and just learning its feel. I know it has enough power to drop a hare out at hundred. That do me for now. Same with scope, haven't really used app. Shoot and record where it is on scope according to my eye. Be doing 60m to 90m in 5m intervals after finished mucking around with distance shooting. Probly 2m intervals closer to 90m. A still day would see that sig humming. Those 177 definitely arnt going to behave in the wind over distance. You have a heavy cal rifle, what's that like for distance? |

Check out this random shyt.
So been out trying to film 172m shot. Started pretty calm but wind has been building up and bit strong and blustery for me now. General pellet fall is like this and is what I'm trying to tweak for wind But here's the random shyt all aimed at same as lower ones. Haven't decided if its wind or pellets. Or both. Check out the top right one. Should really weigh some out. Light works on film, a tiny red light appears in distance so that's a bonus. Wind has tripped it three times. So Nunga are you able to edit?
I got the shot all be it hitting the edge of target set light off. I thought if I paused it, it would restart on same video but it's made separate little videos. Turns out I'm not good filming and swear to much. I'll redo it another day at further distance it's still windy here. Oh went to weighed pellets 4 shots. |

I got the shot uploaded.
There is a huge patch of just the fence as I'm setting up the range finder, closely followed by me trying to focus it for ages. Not worth time to sit thru that. Got wind speed and bit more stuff will upload when can suss it out. Once I uploaded it changed some how. Sorted edit version. https://youtu.be/Xyvd_xx5Thw?si=rtAA4qPwAwisfAE5 Edited by kruzaroad - 26 Aug 2024 at 8:19pm |

Sweet figured it out got them uploaded.
You'll see me,.adjust the scope after the second shot. I'd forgot to crank it back up, before commencing shooting. Once I did that was 2 shots with the weighed pellets. You can see how many this morning of random pellets. I'm going keep sorting them. |
