Next build is for a Beeman sportsman rs2, I've got everything to build it except for a barrel (these were one of the models that came with both .177 and .22 barrels) using a barrel off a umarex Ruger rifle I've got for parts.

Don't encourage him, sounds like he wants to start a underground Chinese illegal air rifle ring

Gas struct on cars are usually got a system that regulates the force for a smooth operation or works at a lower pressure than gas rams.
You can get seamless steam pipe off AliExpress and rifling buttons for forming barrels but you will need a press to push the rifling button through. |

Wonder if it is possible to buy a steel pipe and some bearing ball and a gas-struct on car to 3d print an air rifle so that we can gain an air rifle at somewhere no air rifle sold such as China?

Properties of 6061-t6 aluminum. Looks like a good choice for sure. |

Here it is with the original. The piston needed to be resessed into the end peice to allow it to be cocked. The piston is about 5mm too long. The original is a cast part and I didn't want to modify that as buy milling alot of material out it may have failed very fast.
Just did a test fit and it needs .5 of a mm taken off in 1 area and it should all be perfect. |

Probly would have helped if I swiped the pic to left and saw the rest. Doh.
So is that same as original or have you redisigned it a bit. Not really a part I would have thought would flog out. What metal you use for new one. |
