Well I'm guessing that's it for 100 bucks.
There's still the thread for any long shots. Guess no reason not to have it open for any springer/gas ram shooter, from anywhere. You shoot a hundy meters plus and hit a can (or smaller) put it up here.
Turns out long distance air rifle bench shooting is a bit of fun.
My next attempt is to shoot out over the longer dam, and measure the furthest I can shoot a pellet (by splash) then use that distance for bucket/pellet drop. Should be fun. I'd love to shoot the 97 to its max range and still drop it on target.

Sounds worse than it was. Between prob Ave about 7 or 8km. Sat around 12km and was gusting up to that constantly over 20km on gusts at times. But I shot in a lull. Worse thing was the light tripping. Bloody wind couldn't wait another minute.

183.6m
Light got blown on by wind so look for small flash as it turns off.
Video is 14min long as I kept filming continually from the shot to target them back up and back down doing wind speeds.
Wind was not a gental breeze.

Will edit it up at some stage but for now this is it.
Finishing comp prize Monday morning, give one last weekend in case some one can get a shoot in. 172m to beat.
The less than a minute version.

Yeah ended up 184 approx.
Went to do175m but thought naf it need to find range for pellet to be dropping near vertical in bucket for when do that.
Did 2 test fires at cardboard and decided there was enough power to trip the target.
Rain has stopped me but still looks promising.
Might have to extend the stick as aiming at point in a tree. That really isn't accurate enough.
Heres the lower shots. There's 1/2 dozen Flyers above them and few fell short. This looks well doable to me.
Ignore the bottom one on right hand side of hole. It pointed a pellet in mechanism wood, but that was from 172.
Only ones with circle in perm marker today.

That could be a goer.
I'll give that a crack
Have to get sd card for the sytong first so can put ph at bucket.
I'll try 175m first at other target and hopefully get a couple pellets stuck and sort out just how steep they are coming in.
Put a sheet of cardboard under bucket should be able to walk them in.
Great idea. Be awsome on slow mo camera.

Why dont you setup a bucket of water at 180 meters and see if you can get the pellet to drop into the bucket of water, that would be cool lol
