Hw97 blackline. Stock.
Scope hawk Vantage, 6 to 24 x 50 (you know I'm not actually sure) ffp
Pellet h&n field target trophy 14.66gr unsorted.
Gun fully rested on bag front. Fore stock arm supporting trigger arm.
No wind to the slightest breeze. As good as it gets really.

I walked up and was looking at the pellet above can when relised the can was seeping.
Was part of a three shot group, so not sure what one hit it.

The power of the pellet's was gone this being the grouping and a couple of pellet's in cardboard.
Aim points

Couple more of can.
Thats it from me.
A pellet change might make a differance to fpe at target, but the hold over on the center of the crosshairs is approx 12 to 15 foot at moment with heavier pellet, the moon.
Thats the furtherest I can shoot this springer at this set up.

From 80m looking to target.

From target back to shooting position, just in front of car.

That group around the can, 47cmx45cm approx.
I spent a few shots over estamating the drift, and finding drop.

Heres the final pic with beer cans, gun, pellets and one of three sun screens it had for the scope over course of shooting.
I'm stoked. I've shot my gun as far it will puncture a can at.
I've pushed myself and the gun and pulled off what i consider a awsome shot. I'm stoked with me and my gun.
I'm expecting one of you guys to beat it.
You guys have more powerful guns, guns you've worked your prefrances into, a lot better shooters than me with those guns.
There's still 100 bucks on it.
If no one claims the hundy bucks off me, I'll flip it back into a comp more suited to more people.
But frankly you all suck for not even commenting on what was a lot of effort, time and skill for me to make that shot.
Lets see you do better and get that hundy.

172m is a very impressive shot, well done Kruza.
I’d have liked to see it with my own eyes.
Not because i think you cheating or lying, I don’t, but simply because I’d love to see someone shooting a can at 172m with a springer πŸ‘ŒπŸ»
If I had the space I’d be participating, for sure.
At the moment I’m about to remove the RRR and rezero the scope on my CFR, shooting through my house into the garden at my max, 20yards πŸ˜‚
Impressive shot, well done. πŸ‘πŸ»
Keen to see what the other guys are achieving distance wise.
Walk quietly, but carry a big stick.

I expected scepticism. Really have no issues with it.
Personally couldn't care who believes it. I shot a can at that distance that is something I know I've done. πŸ‘
I would have liked some one there, to call the shots. Doing a group then walking down sux. By time you walk back you're back to repositioning yourself. The amount of times I had sussed what I needed to do as I walked back and made the holdover adjustments got everything perfect, and hadn't taken the saftey catch off was infuriating.
The biggest factors I have here is the still days (been dead still all day today too) dirty great backboard so I can see what's going on and the drop to target. It allowed me to keep the shooting angle less extreme from bench.
As for what the others do, I'm fully expecting to be beaten. I'm not a target shooter, I'm running a nice gun and nice scope but that's it. Both stock. Fully rested.
I cannot see why it shouldn't go out to 180m 190m, even 200m wouldn't surprise me.
Thanks Pete.

Woooo hoop that's awesome.

Would you hesitate to take a shot at a starling at 100 now?

Yep.
Starling at a hundred above where I put my skill level at for a clean kill in one shot.
Gun is definitely capable of it.

Score.
Big save furniture, let me have these (there's a lid behind it)
Perfect for a long distance back drop.
Eager to get rid of it too. Less rubbish for them I suppose.

Sheesh, great shooting.

I have had no time to get to somewhere to shoot that distance during the day, but would still love to try. Don't have .22 springer, but will try with .177 if I get a chance.
