I'm keen to find out what ppl use for working on thier rifles.
Quality brand tools you recommend.
Specialised tools.
Cleaning equipment.
Lathes, printers, tolerances, dimensions, (I personally haven't used a lathe or milling machine in 30 odd years since helping a die maker with a few dies and are totally out of touch with what's around)
Home made tools that make the job easier.
Pics of machine projects and parts made, dimensions.
Techniques for things, polishing, bedding, lapping, etc.
Big, small, something that was just dam interesting.
How's is it being done in nz?

I'm guessing that's wood, but looks like the parts could be printed pretty easily too.

Low cost set of Tee handle Hex keys, very rare for me to use the keys supplied with OEM purchase.
Tee handles much easier for older fingers.

These or a quality hex wrench set with the ball ends unlikely to scratch or damage your equipment.
The bottom 3 do most jobs, thumb and finger all the effort required.

I have the same set Mercs.

I have a tool shed minilathe. I have taught myself a few skills to get by. But love doing stuff on this. Setting it up to cut well is a job in itself, but fortunately there is a heap of info about. I'm able to make a few of the easier parts for my guns and it makes you appreciate how tighter tolerances maketh quality in all concepts of life.

Sweet toy.
Do you have a 4jaw chuck for it as well. What type of cutting tools do you use?
I see you got a digital vernier, and metal that it looks like you've turned on the shelf.
Whats been your favourite air rifle part project on it?

No, I want one eventually. I have a small milling vice that I used to make a single shot loader for an S200 out of delrin. That was cool, but My favourite thing would be carbon fibre drone arms, (silencers), and it's very satisfying making a functioning part such as these crosman extended probes.

I mainly use 2 HSS turning tools, one parting blade and have a carbide boring bar.
