Hey anybody shooting one of these? Not much out there on the interweb but they seem to be a pretty simple design that "just works".

Since I'm drawn to "unsophisticated" they have a lot aof appeal at their price point!

If you know someone running one let me know eh.

Thanks
Foster

Not me ..... But talking of Norica air rifles have you all seen this?

https://noricaairguns.com/en/producto/omnia-zrs-fire-2/

Looks like the whole action slides forwards during the shot cycle to prevent the forward recoil effects.

Interesting concept and hope some make it to NZ to try out.

Would be good to try one. A guy down south has made a sledge system for his and they work well.

Here's a good video of the ZRS - his other PCP reviews are also good and entertaining

Very impressive consistency from a break barrel 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

A very nice looking piece of kit indeed.  However, if anyone is thinking of importing one be aware that the Norica Vertek S I recently purchased from Youngs (and it was a lovely gun) had an undersized bore - as did all the other units that Ron had in stock.  It would be gutting to import one of these no-recoil guns and find it has a similar fault.

Oh bummer, did you manage to fix it? Or gathering dust?

Ron took it back and was going to send me a replacement but when he checked them they were all the same unfortunately.  My only conclusion was that the barrels were choked and had been installed the wrong way around, but I don't know enough about air rifles to know whether this is possible or not.

A shame as it was quite light and very nice to handle.

Nope, hence my warning re the brand, especially if importing personally which would be very tempting based on the reviews.  I'm not sure what Ron is going to do with his stock of the Vertek, but for 80-90% of pellets I had to force them in with a probe which wrecked the heads as you can see in the pic.

Out of interest, did you, or Ron try pushing the pellet in from muzzle back to breech to see if it was in fact backwards.

I don't know what Ron did and I hadn't thought of the possibility before I sent it back.  I might email him and ask.

If your talking to Ron, ask him if he will sell them for cost incase some of us want to tinker.... If he still has them

He tells me he's repaired them all, they were missing the entry taper apparently.  I'm keen to buy another as long as he can assure me the pellets will be an easy finger push in Smile
