Daystate 0.22 Air Ranger with hand pump, spare seals, mostly full tin of JSB heavies. Shooting the JSBs @ 850ish fps giving 30ish fpe. Pick up from Auckland, Thames or Hamilton.  |

Hi Pete, Hi Pete, It's theoretically capable of 80fpe but running 30fpe at the moment on jsb heavy pellets. Power can be adjusted by playing with the hammer spring tension. I haven't tinkered with the hammer spring this 30fpe more than enough for me to shoot rabbits and increasing power will increase air consumption. Cheers |

Interesting. I don’t know much about daystates. Is the hammer spring externally, or at least easily, adjustable? 80ft/lbs is a serious amount of energy, it would be more then enough to get heavy, 30ish grain slugs up to their preferred velocity of 950ish fps. A few more questions if you don’t mind, Length of the barrel? Volume of the bottle and fill pressure? Is it regulated, and if so can it be adjusted?
