I picked up a new shooting toy today - BOG Deathgrip aluminium.

Weather wasn't great so will put it through its paces soon.

Is it on a ball joint?

Just up and down. The rotation is a separate joint.

looks like a modified camera mount.? it is very similar to my camera mount.
