Well the kids Go-Cart i build for them a few years ago blew the motor last summer and they have been nagging at me to fix it for a few weeks now.

So today i decided to pull the motor apart and put the new parts i got for it around 6 months ago back in and see how it goes.

If you know me you  will know i just cant help myself when it comes to motors and performance parts Tongue So the kids Go-Cart old 49cc 2 stroke motor looks a little different now since i rebuilt it

The block has been taken out to 55cc and the old head has been replaced with a high compression head also put in a Forged piston, steel crank and new carb.

They are going to get a bit of a surprise when they take it out tomorrow lol :)

Here is an update. Well I took it out for a test drive. I thought it be best for me to to test it before the kids  :) ha ha ha :) you know, i didnt want them to crash or anything well thats my excuse anyway lol.

Well i managed to snap the chain doing these skids (both wheels spinning)  so i need to get a new one now. This motor is putting out more power than i thought it would. Might look in beefing up the drive train a bit now.

It is really cool tho. sideways in most corners and no traction when you give it the gas. I love it !! :)
