I want to paint my gun in camo. its got the plastic stock. Anyone done this before? if so what paint did you use? I just finished painting up the boys Model Tank over the holidays and they sell oil based paint in a spray can for plastic models. was thinking to use that but at 15 bucks for a 100ml spray can that is a very expensive way to go. was thinking maybe super cheap auto or recpo for their automotive paint in spray can...maybe they have something like a undercoat for plastic bumpers i could spray on first.

Any ideas?

How durable did that paint job end up being Nunga? Been thinking along similar lines for 1322 but not sure the pumping wouldn't cause undue wear.
But this has definitely respark my interest in giving it a go.

I have touched it up a couple of times and i ended up coating it with a mat clear coat which seems to have done the trick. still looks like new

Cheers. Think I'll give it go at some stage then. Matte clear coat it after painting. Learn from your experiance. Thanks.
