Just about to start designing and making an offset butt mount, pistol grip and trigger post for the walther. I'll look at an offset of 30mm. I think the most difficult part will be curving out the pistol grip mount bracket where it attaches up under the rifle stock.
If it doesnt work I will return it to as it was......

the pistol grip attachment is similar to the steyr but it is different enough for the rowan part not to work (without being modified).
Anyway, at least this way it will onlt cost me time.

Just finished the parts. Trial fitted them and at this stage they feel good. They have now been disassembled and satin etched.

Thanks
As far as feel is concerned the initial thoughts are that it is comfortable. In the standing it does feel the side of the butt lies closer to my chest, which aw the main reason for trying it.
But I haven't fired it yet in earnest so I guess the proof will be in the pudding when I do that.

It does look like it'd be pulled in a lot closer to you, which should give you more stability in standing and kneeling.
Some of those pics show just how many points of adjustment that walther really has, no excuses for it not fitting right :-)

Logistics question, does it still fit in the case? Its starting to gain width now.....

I haven't tried that yet, but if it feels at all tight I will trim back some of the support foam.

Yes the rifle does have a lot of adjustments. before these mods I had it sitting pretty nicely and comfortably on me. I guess it starts again now.
