So, on the way to a fishing spot today, I stopped off at my favourite gunshop to check on the progress of some pre ordered bits and pieces and, lo and behold, therewithin was the pellet shelf freshly stocked with all sorts of lovely little lead trinkets.

I wasn't there to buy anything but......... shuftied through and there were 2 other JSB offerings in .22.

Exact Jumbo Heavy 18.13 and Exact Jumbo Express 14.35.  So, I grabbed a can of each, coz, why not?

Too windy and wet at the fishing spot and the river was a dirty brown messfrom far away rain, so slapped on the runners and knocked out a 10 kayer before seeking shelter in a cafe.

Later in the day, back at the warehouse I have access to, I cranked those through 3 rifles.  The Gamo Swarm Magnum hated both of them.  The HW90 did not like the heavies at all but shot enough good groups to know they were minute of game, at least at 20m.

That HW97 though, all I had to do was shake either tin at it and they were swallowed up and spat out in pretty close to JSB Exact 15.89 size groups, both off target , of course, but both grouping very very well.

Heavies were high and centre, which doesn't make sense when they're sighted in with the 15.89's and the Express were high and slightly left, which does.

Long story short, I can stick anything with lead in it in the 97 and its happy.

Not the first thing I've fallen in love with that's capable of that.

Any of you 97 owners had the same experience?
