Of all my rifles that have come and gone, the one that I miss the most is my beloved HW97kt in the best caliber for spring rifles in my opinion, 5mm or known as .20
This was the rifle that I conducted all my pest control with, I shot at factories to control the pigeon problem and got paid for it, was a awesome weekend bit of fun. The rifle just gave me so much confidence when I shot it, some rifles you take a sighting shot or two and adjust accordingly, this one just was always dead on, and with my fixed magnification scope I knew exactly where my POI was going to be. The glass was a Optisan Viper 10x44 and it just fit this rifle so perfectly.
I stripped the varnish off the stock, stained and finished it to my liking and it came out gorgeous, the pics don't do it justice. I made a straight setback trigger blade and done some work to the inturnals.
I was bought new and cherished, this was my last rifle to go before leaving SA.
I've replace the rifle but with a .177 from Youngs, it's nice, but needing that in between cal again

That is a nice looking air rifle.

My regrets is selling one of only two in NZ .177 cal Edgun Veles air pistol, it was tuned by Ed and stripped, rebuilt by Wingman for me, amazing accuracy, the perfect pcp pistol imo

Other regret was selling my fwb300s with Maccari full power spring kit, it was still low power, i cant remember the fpe now but I was shooting pest birds  max 65m with it on windless days.
