Kia ora, I'm 28yo and a father of 2 (4 & 7) originally from Bay of Plenty but have been in the south island for probably half of my life. Currently residing in Christchurch, I have been shooting air rifles for about 12 years or so now and in that time have taken many possums, rabbits, magpies and a few feral cats.

I currently own a Benjamin Trail NP in .177. and I've recently acquired a Gamo cfx under lever in .177 and also Crosman 2250b in and mostly joined the forum because of the crosman as am looking into modifying mine.

Also if there are any other locals out there keen to let me tag along for any rabbits/possums ect I'm happy to pay my way if that means to split costs, do some work for ya or buy a box ect. I also have my own 4wd ute and a quad to bring along.

Welcome aboard. The cfx is probly one of gamos more accurate models. Jad a.play on one a while back and rather like it.
The crossman im sure there are plenty of ppl who can help you out. Seems.to be a few a co2 users here. Seen pics of some rather nice mods done to them by users. Then theres the power increases that seem popular and some pretty onto ppl here when it comes to co2 mods.
Whats the Benjamin trail like? Never shot a Benjamin myself.
Is your eldest playing around with air rifles? Would seem the right age to be starting to get into it.espially with a stock added to the 2250b be the perfect light wieght fun for a kid to use. Short, light, and no cocking.
Mind you a few mods and you probly won't be putting down.
Looking forward to seeing what mods you go for. 👍

GDay Kage,  Welcome here.

Crosmans are addictive. Good to shoot and plenty of mods that aren't too difficult.

Paul.
