I recognise your names, you old bastards, you know who you are LOL

Anyway I've killed everything there is to kill with a .177 and I killed all it's friends and so on.

started 100 years ago on Digits forum with a $300 Hatsan 55 .177 killed everything from rabbits,
possums, geese and a million mynahs.

Fwb300s with Macarri kit, I just got better at killing everything

next was Diana 54 .177 I killed everything for nearly a decade with that gun, even headshot rabbits over 100m lazered.

Bought a Prosport that I've still got from Shaqa and I've killed everything with that including a wild sheep.

Recently bought a Tx200 just getting used to it with its fixed 10 optic, it's fired maybe 300 pellets but it's pretty good, I have more faith in my rusty barrelled bush bashing any weather prosport but the tx should be a good back up slayer.

Anyway, I joined because I wanted to see the hunting section, I like hunting, killing and eating rabbits.

Kia ora all

Well there's a name I haven't heard in a while. I ampretty sure I remember your hunting vebtures with the Prosport. I was fairly new to airgunning then and I remember thinking it was good to see an AA being used as a tool as I was learning more about target shooting at the time.

Welcome back, we look forward to hearing and sharing more.

Kia ora Pauly,

Well I read 36 pages of a 106 page hunting thread,, then crashed out, it's the best reading I've had in years, reminded me of my own adventures when I used to post them, so really good to see people are still as activetly enthusiastic about hunting with springers as I am.

I remember when I was new and joined the dianawerk forum, lot of old fellas taught me so much and sadly many aren't with us anymore.

Even members of nzairgunners and nzairgun have passed in recent years, I'm only 55 fighting fit, still out there hunting everything, I went to west coast and got into a lot of deer hunting and helicopters but back to Otago now and back to the air rifles. my prosport is as accurate as ever, Im trying to get this scope on my tx squared up, 1/8 of a degree out is a bitch, then gotta restart, I dont got the patience I once had unless hunting.

I'm gonna have to work out how to post photos and hopefully I can show some people around the area and contribute something to the hunting scene.

I wanna get my tx squared away and get a first kill.

To post photos make sure the image isn't too big. Sometimes cropping or creating a collage works well.

Vault!   Its been a long time mate.

I remember the posts, remember being jealous of the FWB300 hunting rabbits out in the beautiful scenery.

Glad you found this forum. I'm running my own professional pest control company up in Hawkes Bay now, mostly small game and a fair bit of it is with a range of PCP's.

Blimey Vault!!!  You're back!  Welcome!  Smile

I thought you'd gone Big Game hunting in Botswana or something!

And you mentioned "Shaqa" - I haven't seen him for so long too!  Is he still around as well?  I'm still using the S410 .22 he sold me 10,000 years ago!!!  And its still as accurate as ever!!!

Good to hear from you.....

Ki ora Myson,

Deer hunting in Karamea is where I went but as nice as it is , there's no rabbits, occasional hare, awesome fishing but you need a chopper to get a deer or know a spot and the locals keep real quiet on spots but I found a few.

Nowadays I'm back to my fav, airgunning, it's just so much fun, getting in close and you get more adventure than bush bashing for a deer although Im still keen on pigs n deer in this area as I know it so well.

Shaqa I havent heard of him since the old forum but I solid dude, did me well on my prosport and a Hawke 8-32*56 for a $100 for the scope, I just put it on my tx and it's awesome.

Might sell my prosport , never thought I'd say that as its such an awesome tool, sleek and accurate as but the tx is all shiney so needs me to use it till it crys

Good to see you all still alive n kicking
