I'm getting back into airguns again, not that I really went away from them, I've always had one or two since i was a kid.
Had been a member of the local club, while it was running.
I do my own repairs and modifications, working on a crosman tyro (raven) for the kids currently, Christmas present, an upgrade from their crosman 760, l might do a post on that project

Welcome, look forward to your posts.

I have the Raven, great little youth rifle, easy to use and well covers the backyard.

Hi Mercs, nice to be here.

How is the trigger on your Raven? Would you know where yours was made, the Tyro is made in China, wondering if the raven was made in the US, hence the name change

Raven was made in China.
Trigger lets it down, a little heavy considering the low power, but you adapt.
Trigger on another youth rifle Norica "Thor" is far worse and actually painful after repeated use.
Trigger and accuracy on Gamo BG Adventure is the best by far.
They were all around $300 when purchased.

Thats interesting, I wonder why the name change then

I just posted my tyro job in the mods section, its made a huge difference to the trigger, highly recommended. Did put a bit of wear on my files though cleaning that up.

Being a youth rifle, the tyro trigger is a bit small for my fat fingers, but its not meant to be for me, however, i may occasionally borrow it, its a good bit of fun.

Ive never actually heard anyone say, a gamo comes with good trigger, are we just talking relative to the raven and thor or is it actually ok?
