I've been on the hunt for a second chrony and came across this brand whilst watching an English Youtube video on the subject.  The units supplied are tested against a certified master unit and guaranteed to be accurate to less than 1 fps per 1000.  I was assured there is no problem with use on springers, in fact they have many adapters to suit common models.

I've just ordered a NateChrony v2.5.  Pricing seems very reasonable and the total cost including a variable adapter and shipping was NZ$327.

Seems like a good chrono.
Love the test page for ph compatible.
Rather like the software upgrade you can get too.
Honest about co2.
Strait up about speed.
Adaptor installation set up explained clearly. (Be interested to hear if grub screw has something to stop it marking bluing)
Definitely gives the impression of a strait up no crap company/product
Could be onto a winner there tr6.

The NateChrony arrived and I got around to setting it up today.

It's a very impressive piece of kit with all components being 3D printed to a very high standard.  I added the clamping system in 15-35mm to allow me to readily fasten it to various sized suppressors or barrel.  It comes standard with adapters for 1/2" UNF20 and another common barrel thread size.

The display took me a little while to unpack but it's now working sending data to a small tablet via direct Wi-Fi from the unit with power supply via the USB cord also included connected to a small power pack.

Of particular note, the supplier (Nate) refunded me $25 without notice and when I queried why he said that it was because he was late in shipping it to.  Very impressive service!

Site details are listed in the original post if you're interested in purchasing one or any of his other goodies.

Display on the tablet after a few shots with my little HW30.  I couldn't load it with the earlier photos for some reason.

That's awsome. Great data to have at your finger tips.
Well set out too. You must be rather pleased with your purchase.

It's a little bit more work to use than my FX Chrony, but the results are instantaneous and very clearly announced.  I bought it because the FX had been problematic since I purchased it a couple of years ago and I was fed up with it's intermittent results.  I should have googled the problem BEFORE I ordered the Nate as it's now repaired and working flawlessly!

That's good. Certainly been designed well, and the service with the refund, very notable.

What was the issue with the fx? Been thinking I wouldn’t mind one of those to upgrade the Caldwell..

The front sensor circuit board had moved on its foam mount and the three connector pins had lifted out of the connector block.  The board was also no longer parallel with the main board.  Removed the self adhesive foam, push the connector home and secured everything with hot glue making sure the board was square and parallel.

I've done a second for a colleague whose missed the odd shot but wasn't as annoying as mine.  The pins on his were fully engaged but the board was way off parallel.  It got the same treatment and is now working fine.

YouTube clip on fix here:

Image is of the second unit showing board misalignment prior to repair.
