My Leshiy has been lurking in the naughty corner of the safe for the last 18 months or so, it needed a reseal kit back then so I stripped it down and rebuilt it but the reg just kept on leaking and I couldn't figure out what was wrong, ordered another seal kit, and the proper huma reg rebuild kit etc, even tried spare regs that I had here (also having to order more rebuild kits for them too!) and just couldn't get it running right so banished it away out of mind for a while.

Rummaging through stuff last night I found the reg tester kit that Wingman made up for it and decided to sit down and have another crack at it. The reg tester confirmed that all of the regs I had here were leaking even after being rebuilt, bloody frustrating but I figured that just can't be right so I got on the phone to Wingman for a yarn to find out what I (as the common denominator) must be doing wrong...

Over video chat we discussed it all and he quickly pointed out that I had the wrong oring in place between the plenum and the valve body, this design cleverly vents the reg through the threads of the low pressure side of the tube (the low pressure side of the reg to plenum seal is done on a face seal between the 2) and the oring I had in place was sealing that off preventing the reg from being able to vent!

I quickly reassembled it all and voila the regs were all behaving as expected! I set the pressure to about 90 bar and put it away ready for testing today.

Out in the wild wind today it zero'd up easily and a little HST adjustment had me at my desired 17.5 fpe. 5 shot groups at 25m all in the same hole even in the wild wind!

Happy to have it all operational again and with it now wearing a nice little Leupold 1.5-5x scope that suits it very well. It packs away in a standard laptop bag with one of my 500cc carbon bottles quite easily providing enough top ups to go through a tin of pellets.

Thats really compact. Nice!
Where is the onboard air resivour? And do you just connect the carbon fiber bottle for top ups?

The air is in the shoulder stock tube, good for about 65 shots at 17.5 fpe I think, haven't done a chrony string with this setup yet but when tuned to 12fpe it gets about 100 shots.

I have 177, 22 and 25 cal barrels for it and spare regs, it can be stripped in the field within a few mins and swapped from a low power/high shot count setup like it currently is to a 40fpe 25cal if you need more power, you just need a few allen keys and the ability to fill it back up.

Yep the carbon bottle just plugs into the fill port and tops it back up, it's a 500cc 300bar bottle.

LOL the more I look at it, the more interesting it gets…
How long is the barrel?
Is it a single shot?

Single shot and from memory the barrels come in 250mm or 350mm, the longer requires an extension to the suppressor.

The rear stock/air tube hinges around to the side exposing the chamber end of the barrel and cocks the hammer back at the same time.
