Been here a while but not posted much. I am a member of various UK and USA forums though.
I was shooting a CZ457 Varmint (24" barrel) at 25 yards indoor benchrest.
That was a lot of fun, and over a few years I upgraded my other BR gear. New rear bag, new front rest (various types x 3 until I found the SEB AR250), also played with different ammo (yes, it liked the expensive stuff). Finally shot a max score 100.10 with it and thought "OK, what's next"?
Last year I sold the CZ and bought a new Anschutz 9015 HP BR50.
It took some fettling to come right, but now I am having fun again.
Even the best pellets (for me QYS Olympic) are not too dear compared to .22 rimfire.
Well on a good day this will put pellet on pellet. Running a Sightron Slll ED 45x45 at present.
Only managed a 100.6 so far but it's coming together now as I fiddle with air pressure settings.
Any of you shooting BR with an air rifle?
Most of the members of our club are older folks (I'm 77 and not the oldest...but we do have a few younger folks too).

Hi Grey Kiwi,

I'm pretty sure there's a couple of guys shooting BR in Auckland. Here in Wgtn the airgun scene is very quiet but there is a small bore club that airgunners can go to on a Wed night. A guy I know is chasing the same sort of scores with his FX Crown.
I don't seem to be able to find time to do it regularly, but had done a little bit and enjoy the head space one must enter.
