I have just got myself a humble 2 nd hand 3D printer and i'm playing around with Tinkercad free which is the programe to make models of what you print.

Just curious if anyone here has any interesting sti files? I was hoping to find some printable grips for a crosman 22XX, as I can't seem to find one with a file attached.

Yea, exactly. I did actually try that one, but Tinkercad said file was too big. But thinking about it I should be able to send it straight to the slicing programe.

I was hoping to modify a design, but maybe I'll be ok printing that out as is.

Watch this space.

Ah right.
This one should be OK: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4350436

What kind of modification you would like to do? Like competition pistol grip?

Btw, the time shown on the post seems to be weird - 2 hours ahead of the NZ time.

Thanks again. Re mods, probably not too much, but was thinking more like instead of two identical flipped halves, make it more right handed or to fit the main tube of the pcp conversions i've done

Great for printing stock spacers to increase you LOP and get a stock to fit you perfectly!
But of course it is only necessary for people with long arms

I wonder what printed pellets would be like?

Gamo could get light speed using them.

I thought about making a custom pistol grip but haven't got a pistol yet so never really tried.

My thought was:
1. Use clay or playdoh to squeeze out a shape fits the hand.
2. Use some scan app (or maybe AI generation with photos/videos) to scan it into models.
3. Based on existing grip models to modify the scanned model.

Maybe just scan or find some existing right handed grips models for #2.

Sadly, got no money, no pistol...
