Hi all, I have been playing with my air rifles since 1970, like most hobbies I pick it up, play a while and then put it down for a while. WIth my first tax refund, 1973, I bought my Meteor Super, Today identified as Mk4, 10 years later a Mercury, then a Sharp Innova about the same time. A couple years later, overseas, a HW35, supposedly the Holy Grail, and at the same time  Tempest Pistol. 100 years ago a Gammo Stutzen, because it looks nice and a fixed barrel design, then tempted into another Gammo, a Whisper, tempted by  the IGT Inert Gas Ram. The trigger lets it down. I don't likr Starlings nesting in my roof they are fair game, but Blackbirds I love and try to befriend. More into shooting targets and tin cans. I did buy a set of silouett targets many years ago but shooting opportunities are limited living in the city. Today the Mercury came apart for the first time, it didn't feel good, and researching parts etc I found this forum. I was on an air rifle forum 10 or more years ago it dissapeared.
Happy to share ideas with anyone.
Best wishes, Andrew.

Hi Andrew. Welcome.
Looks like your a well experienced air gun shooter.
That stutzen was interesting to check out on web. It is a good looking gun. You still have it?
Plenty of of target shooters here as well. Guess it's the joy of air rifles being able to set up in back yard and plink away.
What you shooting these days in?

Hi Andrew, welcome here. There's just something about spring guns, even old ones that keeps us coming back.

Hi Yes I still have in working order all those rifles listed. Stutzen is beautiful, very solid , in .22 surprisingly nice wood for a Gammo.

Welcome, over 50 years with airguns, look forward to your posts.

New UK made Super Meteor available overseas.
I am hoping that they will import to NZ.

Gamo triggers - must be a thread in that.
Some claim to have the fix.

Be keen to see a few pics and bit of a review on the stutzen, if you want to review it.
Coming from a time further back I'd be keen to see what quality is like.
I suspect we earlier gamos were a differnt gun and prob much better made.

I remember picking up a Diana Stutzen for a mate that bought it via trade me.

Very nice, interesting stock. Got to shoot it a few times.
