Air Arms pellets long promised but still not delivered.

All PCP rifles (Daystate, Brocock, Air Arms et al) are no where to be seen on their website now and if you search for them by name nothing comes up.

I’m not totally sure what happened but I know a lot of the stock is now At Youngs Airguns on the wall - he may be more “distributor only” now or something like that; selling to retailer rather than direct to consumer .
Possibly more work for him with pcp - mail order forms, register etc for him to deal with

OK, that makes sense.  I know that's who Youngs source their AA pellets from and Ron has them showing as available in his catalogue at the moment.  If this is actually the case then I'd have thought it would have been a good idea to note the change on their website.

10th of October he had one tin of aa df .22 left. Was waiting on shipment then.
Wouldn't be surprised if with all stuff going on over there that shipments are delayed and that a lot of lead will be getting rerouted to ammunition factories for the war effort.
Which is why I've got a couple thousand pellets put away of what the guns like and extra tins of good pellets that shoot nearly as well.
If it all turns to shyt I'll be munching on rabbit, possum, hare, pigeon all fresh killed while the powder burners are trying to preserve meat from larger animals or losing meat on small game critters

Well, Youngs has the new stock of the AA TX200 rifles in now so there may well have been a replenishment of the pellets in trhe same shipment so they may be back soon? (speculation)

Also, the new TX200 Ultimate Springer is $2998. Bugger me.

Thanks for the offer Kruza, very generous.  I'll be sticking with the $44 tins of JSB's for the moment, $59 for the AA's is a bit of a stretch.  I don't imagine they'll be flying out the door too fast at that price!

They all going to keep going up in price this war is going to create a massive panic with countries rearming both during and after, one thing that hasn't changed is soldiers on the ground flinging lead at each other.
Who knows a pellet dye maybe the best option at moment.
Always plenty of scrape lead around, old car batteries, tyre weights, fishing sinkers, probly even use soldier.

Lol sure is for what is basically a couple features extra on a stock.
Mind you I'd go one if the they made synthic stock one.
Just a quick couple of calculations on lead bullets used in Ukraine think from half way through.
12,900 000 at 55grain is 45 metric ton. That includes the jacket so a little less. Doesn't take into account any that were heavier, had a steel core or the jacket.
Which is way less than i was thinking.

Oh and back on topic I emailed Dave and asked about no more pcps and low on pellets will let you know if he responds.
Mostly because I hoping he ain't gonna close as he's my quality weapon supplier choice, really good to deal with, and not a twat like certain other air rifle ppl I have dealt with. Also very prompt, efficient, always been well packaged. Knowledgeable.

Thanks for your email . Business and life very good thanks.

Just making some changes to business , will be concentrating on the importing side , while Youngs airguns in Ak handle all the rifles.

RE: Pellets have very good stock of all pellets ,except AA Field 22 16 gr ….AA stuffed up and sent me wrong pellets …..grrrr.

So there's your answer and why aa haven't arrived yet.

Yeah, he's a very decent guy.  I've purchased a couple of guns from him over the last couple of years and he was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful.

I completely understand why he's moving away from retail (having been there myself for 25 years), especially with the hassles and paperwork required these days.  It must be a nightmare dealing with it day in and day out.
