Hey Everyone,

What ever happened to the Wellington clubs, the Airgun section of the Ngaio Rifle club etc, are they still around in some form?

Unfortunately interested slowly died.

We were shooting FT at 643 in Palmy, then tried getting an alternate range in Otaki. We were starting to get a bit more interest, but then the new regs came into effect and made it far to expensive for our small club to continue.

There is a remnant that shoot at a private range in Palmy, and there is also the Keene range in Petone that airguns can shoot at on a Wednesday.

I believe NRC continues, but no airgun activity there.

Did you have a TX200? I think I remember you.

Yes Paul, the Otaki one was great, It's a pity the Rules & Regs around groups shooting on private land weren't more transparent (or workable Confused)

Hi Paul, yep I’m Lachlan. Had/have a TX200 and an HW95. Used to ride a bike to the club meets up at Grenada North. I was thinking of getting a pcp after my licence renewal next year.

Bit of a shame about the clubs, and the new rules regarding them.

Hi everyone,
I am a new member of this site and recently moved to Levin. I hunt and fish but now pretty old and like to shoot 10 meter air pistol.

Hard to find a club around here and wonder if anyone around here, Levin/ Otaki etc. would be interested in getting one up and going. Appreciate any thought's.

Cheers.
