Hi Folks, Does anyone have one of those crossman CO2 powered pistols in .22cal? Iām trying to get an idea of what sort of power it produces with your average weight .22 pellet? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Pete. ------------- Walk quietly, but carry a big stick. |

Yeah about 5 footpound, BUT, they are just so easy to modify... a little valve work to increase volume and smooth the flow + a longer barrel will give good gains. I actually prefer to use the 2250b carbine as a base - comes with a longer barrel and main tube which gives a more balanced look with long barrel. Swap the stock for grips and your away. Pete, have a look at my pistol build in the Technical area. I have some groups shot at 15 m with my pistol that has a 2250 barrel. Kruz also has good success with his pistol that has a 2250 barrel. I think for pest control they are accurate enough out to 20 to 25 m. Although that depends on you. I tried shooting a rabbits at about 15 m with my pistol and it was a whole different ball game, highlighting how bad I was at shooting a pistol off hand. I certainly wouldn't be picked to shoot for Turkey.
