It looks like from this coming Wednesday you will need a license to import some types of air guns.

Yep, part of the amendment to the mssa section of the arms act
Seems to only apply to importing them at the moment, but there was talk of licensing/permits for them, so that's more than likely going to occur later on. I personally don't see the difference between an a cat and an e cat AR15 (apart from the bigger mags available ) , a .223 or 5.56 round will still do the damage regardless of what stock is on the gun. Just another case of more laws for the law abiding. Not going to stop the crims from obtaining anything and using it. |
