Has anyone got any interesting projects on the go? I had a nice trigger, and now a breech to customise a Crosman 2240, as they are one of the only air pistols available these days im hoping some of you others have some evil plans as well?! This one will keep the 2240 base pistol, with a few changes: - Shortern the barrel back to the gas tube - Install Stainless Breech - Lovely brass roller trigger - Polish sear contact points for smooth pull & let off - Blue / grey laminate grips - Stainless screw set to pair with the breech and grey in the grips As the barrel will be quite short this will be internally standard as power mods would just waste gas. |

Had a few spare minutes so polished the sear and installed the trigger blade and grips. Feels good!

Nice nice nice. I'm still working on my bulk filled 2250. Hopefully will have it running on the bulk tank once my custom transfer tube turns up.

Thanks to mercs who told me of a shop that sells chamber oil, I also just got a crossman 1322 (last one in shop and only one Ive found).
Im going to rebuild it with a longer barrel, flat piston, differnt port, stock and any other mods I think will improve it. All will be standard off the shelf upgrade parts. Ill document it from whoa to go with chrono, accuracy, handling, etc as i slowly get it done and see what differance stock upgrade parts make. First post next week on the basic pistol. (All things going smoothly) |
