got sighted 25 meters. tend to be pulling to right. last 3 shot group sub an inch but aiming to left to compensate. what's ppls trigger technique? I'd be keen to hear and see if I can pick up on something that helps mine. Will post couple of targets in few days, hopefully will have cured pull by then.

Initial thought is to hold on target after taking the shot, maintain same weight at shoulder and do not lift your head or trigger finger for several seconds.
Everything you do immediately after pulling the trigger affects trajectory until pellet is out of the barrel.

Harder than perfecting a golf swing.

Hundreds of years of experience on the forum so I look forward to some follow up on this one.

Cheers

I used to always shoot left and was taught that I didn't have the butt seated into my shoulder properly. Was taught the artillery hold which helps bunch up the shoulder to prevent the rifle slipping off the shoulder under recoil therefore pellets hitting left. Don't know if this makes sense but something to try

I put my thumb up directly behind the line of the trigger, and imagine a line, I pull my trigger finger directly backward along that line. This trigger pull subject also highlights the importance of having a predictable tuned trigger.

+1 for thumb up shooting as Pauly states.
also a couple of things - use the middle of the finger pad; using the tip or close to joint can affect pistol shooters especially, and may be relevant to rifles too?..
follow through - try to keep aim at the target after the shot is taken.
some tend to do a quick pull and let the finger off again - take up the first stage then pause, get back on target, a bit more pressure lets the shot off. Keep a smooth motion rather than a quick pull and let go - jerking the trigger can lead to inconsistent shot.
Main thing is get used to the rifle - find a comfortable method of achieving a good shot, then practice the same action over and over

that's good advice. I tend to use the tip of my finger as it's more sensitive. hopefully get out today.

Cheers for advice mercs and pauly5.
Center of finger smoothed pull. Was also using shoulder to adjust gun to left and pushing back with cheek to stabalise creating a pinching pressure on stock. taking inch bull at 36meters and under (winds up to much to reach out further now) Variable wind today so good for learning. technique needs refining before post targets.Any more tips ppl? If it works for me I'll adopt it.
