Bought it in the USA as I went to the states for work. Rochester New York.
 
Before I left I got made sure I had a police  importers clearance for it .
 
 
I had no issue with police or customs . It went  into the hold of the planes but in a lockable rifle case as well as a check at every point to make sure it is not loaded .. I only had to pay 15% tax on it after showing the impoters licence to the airport police and he stamped it for me .No problems .
 
I then had to take the rifle and licence to Christchurch police and they made a copy of the licence and wrote down the serial #.....
 
 
I obtained a licence for 3 rifles ....Cricket ,Daystate Huntsman and Huntsman XL ...I chose the cricket and also it was on a special at the time .
 
I obtained a Hill pump and a nice scope from Str8shooters   in Christchurch ...Check them on Facebook and internet
