Well its been quiet here lately.
I've made a cheek riser for my gun. I've reverted back to a synthetic stock to keep everything simple and lighter. But it's not adjustable, so I used the heat gun to bend a piece of perspex into shape, trimmed it, cut a couple of slots. Next I fitted two threaded inserts into the stock. Hey presto! I now can also put my click chart on the backside of the pad and be able to see it. This eliminates carrying it around. The riser comes off easily and is adjustable. I could have used gray pvc or black if I can find it. Overall a pretty simple upgrade. |
