Has anyone successfully removed and and replaced the handel on a 13xx orginal bolt?
I've punched out one, i snapped ages ago and noticed that its strait walled where the handel goes into the bolt, and flared at the end.
Not going to destroy spare bolt if pointless task.

Im pretty sure they're pressed / peened (?) in place, best removal is dissembling, and replacing with an aftermarket one which bolt handle usually screws in place. better yet, combining with a steel breech if you can find one..

Got the steel breech.
The plastic breech allows the bolt to be fitted complete. Steel does not.
Might have to see if owner wants to fork out for 2 piece bolt from shop or wait till i can get one turned up.

Ah i get it. No you cant use the bolt from plastic breech in the steely. youngs usually has bolts in stock, or occasionally extended ones on trademe.. Id have to check if i have spares - I imported a couple for a build to share postage and sold a couple on. I may have a spare extended, or perhaps a spare standard one..
