Hi all, newbie here thanks for the forum. I have had my firearms licence for over 35 and own a good selection of pest control firearms, had E cat rifles under the old rules. Lot's of shooting/pest control experience almost exclusively with semi auto rimfire, shotgun and centrefires. The one thing I do not have is an airgun, so am looking to remedy this. Most of my small pest control work is done with my 1985 vintage Ruger 10/22 with well over 100,000 rounds through it, but looking at maybe a PCP air rifle for more built up areas. And an air pistol for fun. This looks like a good place to learn.

Welcome. Hope you enjoy your time here. Always good to convert a power burner user to air power :)

We do have a powder burner section so feel free to populate that if you so desire.. I would say your old "handed in" blast from the past 223 is classed as small bore :)

Welcome. What are the pests you'd be controlling? I'm guessing rabbits?
Set up for pcp is reasonably pricey, but ammo is cheaper than powder. FX have a good range and the AGT range are also well worth looking at. You will get good power/shot count.
