Just for the hell of it I ran some shots on my 362 tonight. It has had some work done on the valve, hollow probe, increased hammer tension, reasonably straight forward stuff. At 16 pumps it shot 21.3 ft/lb, but there was still a little bit of pressure left, so there's not much point pumping more until until the valve can dump it better.

Using 18.52 grn H&N

Pumps            ft/lb
4                      9.38
5                     11.32
8                     15.6
9                     16.9
10                   18.01
12                   19.5
16                   21.3

So as BC Clark says, there is really a lot more that could be done to develop pumpers, but at 4 pumps, that's a respectable bit of power I reckon.  I see they have put out a pcp version of the 362 called 3622 I think.

Interesting thanks Pauly.
Walk quietly, but carry a big stick.
