Hi All,
I'm documenting the pulling apart, inspection and refurbishment of my approx 1987 Sharp Innova. It been abused a bit - I lent it to someone who shot steel nails through it and it buggered the accuracy not surprisingly. I pulled it apart and found most of the o-rings were in pretty bad shape so I ordered a kit off ebay. There was also a bit of surface rust on the trigger guard and the pump cylinder. Internally, the chamber and trigger mechanisms appeared to be in great shape. Edited by Deano - 14 Jan 2024 at 2:38pm |

The trigger sear and related parts got a good polish. I had experienced a really notchy trigger at hugh power levels and I'm hoping to fix this. |

Trigger assembled into breech, with some marine grease. It's nice and smooth now! |

What are the pellets in first pic?
Thats looking great. You seem to be cleaning it up nicely. Should be a beauty once again. Are those the original valve parts in plastic bag? How you go for sourcing seals etc? Nice crisp photos too. Looking forward to rest of build pics, final assembly and of course testing. |

Prometheus and H&N Diabolo... both from the 1980s!!! Don't think the Prometheus went too well in the choked barrel though - not so accurate from memory... Yep all the parts are out of the gun as shown, and there is actually a good amount of seals and orings I think becaause the gun was remanufactured at least 2 times since they stopped the original. Good thread.
