I tried in a strong norwest (gusting up to around 80km/h from memory) pellets went everywhere, where my 40yrd target was is has obscured with poplars and the wind swirls around too much. Northwesters are quite gusty so you just have to wait for in-between the gusts. I did sight a .177 once in an easterly and found with no wind the POI was nearly 2 inches to the left. I should try the .25 in heavy wind

How much difference have you found between .25 and .22 for drift.
lmao at wind speed you were trying to shoot in. Be impressive feat to hit bull in wind like that.
