That wallaby pic was great. I have no idea why that's not in hunting stories. I'd love to read about it. Im a firm believer in accuracy counts more than a super powerful rifle for the kill shot.
Had 2 easy hare shots just after dark tonight, 10 to 15m. Forgot to compensate for having the torch on. Bye bye bunnies. sigh |

Biggest Ive taken is my wallaby with my .25cal. other than that Ive taken Hares with .22 and .177 the last hare I shot was a detuned Stoeger .177 only doing around 600fps but deadly accurate out to 30m, I took it at around 20m

Have any of you shot larger animals over the years. I'm guessing hares is biggest ill go with .22
I'm curious to hear what you guys/gals may have taken down with the larger calibers in air rifles. Springer or pcp. |
